12-Month Guarantees on Parts and Labour

We offer a 12-month guarantee on all new parts and labour installed by us, effective from the date of completion of the relevant work. This guarantee is subject to the following conditions:

  1. Exclusions to Guarantee Validity: The guarantee will be void if the workmanship or parts have:
    1. Been subject to misuse, negligent treatment, or improper handling by you or any third party; or
    2. Been repaired, modified, altered, adjusted, or tampered with by anyone other than our authorised personnel.
  2. Manufacturers' Guarantees: This guarantee is in addition to any manufacturer’s warranty or guarantee provided in respect of goods supplied and used in the provision of the services. Such guarantees will be subject to the individual terms and conditions of the manufacturer.
  3. Exclusion of Liability for Customer-Supplied Materials: We will not accept liability for any materials or products supplied by you, including but not limited to the suitability of such materials or products for the services provided.
  4. Guarantee Exclusions: The following circumstances are not covered by this guarantee:
    1. Blockages in waste or drainage systems;
    2. Services not directly undertaken by us;
    3. Failure to pay the full amount due for the services;
    4. Services carried out on your instruction against our written or verbal advice;
    5. Faults arising from your decision not to proceed with services we have recommended in writing or verbally;
    6. Services performed on installations or appliances that are in poor condition or more than 10 years old.
  5. Frozen Pipes or Drains: We cannot guarantee the clearing of blockages in frozen pipes or drains. We will also not be held liable for any fractures or damage to property caused directly by frozen pipes, except where such damage is a direct result of our defective workmanship in providing the services.
  6. Completion Time: We do not guarantee how quickly the services will be completed. In some cases, such as with electrical faults or blockages, it may be necessary to conduct multiple tests to identify the exact location of the issue. While we will endeavor to complete this as soon as reasonably practicable, the time required to identify the fault cannot be predicted in advance.
  7. Non-Guaranteed Work: If we notify you verbally or indicate on the invoice that certain work will not carry a guarantee, no guarantee will apply to that work.
